The Peninsula Paris Secret Table is a private rooftop with a direct Eiffel Tower panorama. This option sits outside the core proposal package catalog — pricing depends on timing, setup scope, and hotel availability. Daytime proposals are the most practical here. Contact us for a quote.
The Shangri-La Paris offers suite-level proposals with a direct Eiffel Tower view from the room or private terrace. A suite booking is required. Events in Paris handles room décor, floral installations, and photographer coordination. For full-production proposals involving multiple rooms or large-scale setups, we work alongside planners who know this venue. Daytime and evening options are both available — contact us with your date.

Is a daytime or night proposal better in Paris?
Sunset suits rooftops and boats when city lights and the Eiffel Tower sparkling at night matter most — pro lighting handles the décor. Early morning suits public spots when lighter crowds and natural light matter more. Boat proposals run noon through past sunset, so you can time the cruise around golden hour on the water.
Is photography included in every proposal package?
Photography is included in all on-location proposal packages. Rooftop packages include 30 minutes — intentional, so you have privacy after the proposal. Public location and boat packages include 60 minutes. The Hotel Room Surprise does not include a photographer on site, but photography can be added separately.
How does photo delivery work?
Your photographer delivers an unedited gallery via a secure link within 24 hours of the proposal. You select 20 images for professional retouching. Retouched images are delivered within 7 days of your selection.
Is professional lighting required?
Pro lighting (€225) is required for all rooftop décor setups — it makes the flowers, candles, and Marry Me letters look right at sunset and after dark. For boat proposals or setups without heavy décor, a lighting associate (€100) handles what is needed. Daytime public-location proposals rely on natural light and do not require either.
Can I add transport to or from the proposal?
Transport is a V-Class Mercedes with a driver at €120. This is an add-on on all packages — not included in any base package. The driver picks you up, brings you to the location, and waits. Most couples add transport for rooftop proposals where the venue is not near a metro station.
Can I add a violinist or saxophonist?
A violinist is €375 and a saxophonist is €500. The musician learns one song of your choice and plays from a repertoire for roughly 30 to 45 minutes of face time. They coordinate with the team on site and arrive before you do. Musicians work well on rooftops and at public spots. The Private Boat does not have space for a musician. The Private Champagne Yacht fits a soloist or duo — check with us when you book.

Do public proposal locations need permits?
Some public locations require advance coordination or informal clearance — our team handles this as part of the package. You do not need to arrange permits yourself. Bir-Hakeim and the Seine riverbank are the most straightforward. Avenue de Camoëns is a quiet residential street where timing and discretion matter more than formal permits.
What happens if it rains?
We monitor forecasts and adjust timing where possible, moving a setup earlier or later to work around a heavy downpour. When that is not possible, the event still goes ahead. Light rain at public spots often means fewer crowds, softer light, and stronger photos. Rooftop venues have covered or sheltered options. Boats are sheltered on board.
